What's on Kathleen's Needles?

Bountiful Bohus Rusted Root River Rapids Socks Double Crochet Scarf

I've had a lot of questions from you all about what I'm knitting. So I'm going to come out of the closet, so to speak, and tell you what's on several sets of my needles!

I've been working on Rusted Root for about a year, and I'm finally on the home stretch! This one's for my mom, who's very patient!

I'm also working on the Bountiful Bohus. I'm almost to the armholes. This will be my first steeking project, so I'm dying to get to that point and CUT MY KNITTING!

The Sleeveless Tuxedo shirt is still on my needles. Sad I should be done by now, but I've only got about 5 inches done (in the round, so I'm making some progress...).

Then there's one finished River Rapids Sock, patiently waiting for its mate.

The Double Crochet Scarf is a project that's been on the hook forever, and I want to finish it because it's perfect for early fall wear.

And I've got that new kitty I told you about. He's impeding my progress because there's nothing he likes more than a moving pair of needles and yarn!

Kathleen do you have a tutorial for doing cables that makes them easier to do.  I have a sweater started for my husband and I can't get into it the way I should.  I made a mistake about two cables back and don't want to take it all out so it sits.  I need to get it done.  Help!!!
