Chicken hat by Gale Zucker

Do you wish your photos of yarn, knits, and crafts were swoon-worthy? Do you want to feel more confident with your camera in hand? So do I!

My photography skills aren't what I wish they were; I want my knits to look as good in photos as they do in real life, and you probably do, too.

I'm thrilled to announce that we're offering a webinar to help you learn to photograph your knits so they look their best. Professional photographer and knitter Gale Zucker has put together a one-hour class that will help you hone your photography skills and set you in the right direction: Basic Photography Skills for Knitters.

Gale's presentation is jam-packed with photography instruction and tips to improve your photos of yarn, knits, people, and the world around you. Culled from her longer workshops, she'll show and share easily understandable composition ideas and tricks to make the best use of light.

She'll also give us exposure tips, thoughts on choosing backgrounds, getting colors to behave, photographing finished objects, and how to get real people to look wonderful in your knits. It's a little bit of everything, with tips you can use right away.

I've been trying to find a link to purchase this webinar and download.  I've sent emails which are not being answered.  Can someone get back to me?

When is long enough to wait? Can we assume it will happen/or reschedule?

I totally understand glitches, but when you set your morning aside for this fabulous webinar, and you can't access it, well...a bit disappointing :-)

Me neither... :-(

We're working on getting everyone their links. You'll have yours in time for the webinar, and we'll see you then!

Hi there- Gale Z here again. You should receive an email from GoToWebinar after registering & purchasing the webinar. It may not be instant--but you WILL receive it (I would also check your spam mail just in case).

Rest assured the folks at Interweave will manually go through all the registrations and double check that everyone received a GoToWebinar email before we get going today!

Buckle your seatbelts- I have a lot prepared. "See" you then.

Hey, I signed up for the webinar, but have no clue how to find it? Can someone please help? I thought there might be a link after I purchased it, but there clearly is not.

Hi Gale

I signed up for your webinar, but I'm a newcomer to this, so how does it work and where do I find it?

Hi there--Gale Z here, so sorry anyone had trouble with a link to sign up. I am so excited to do this webinar! Try this shorter link version:

Here's the cool thing about  webinars: it is webcast and recorded live at noon on June 5th but you can revisit it at any time after--or purchase it and watch it at your leisure from home. If you are catching the live version you can ask questions via online chat but that is the only difference. I'm putting together a very lively and chock full of good tips presentation, I hope you give it a try.

Chlocelot - Does that link which you found work?  I would not think it would work because I would think Gale Z. would want you to purchase her webinar.  I would consider purchasing it but I cannot do a webinar while I am at work...noon in the middle of the week.  Perhaps she can post something after the webinar.  I guess she would like to make money from her suggestions and ideas so she should write a booklet with her instructions and give lots of examples.  It has to be worth it to purchase it.

I managed to find the course here: Hope everyone has better luck with this link!

I couldn't get the link to work either.

Your link to the webinar doesn't work - it goes to

I tried adding .com to interweavepress but that didn't work either.
