I received the Knitting Daily e-mail today about the spring issue of Knitscene. When I clicked on the link to leave a comment, it said "access denied" even though I was logged in. Is this a broken link, or was I supposed to do something else?

The entrelac has proven have a soothing, satisfying rhythm to it, and it receives oohs and ahhs from friends. Unfortunately, I can see that 10 skeins won't be nearly enough to complete the long, luxurious shawl pictured. So maybe it will end up as a lap throw, which is what it's been to me this winter.

I have knit this project, twice, after learning about it during an entrelac class at my lys. The first time I used Boku -- its long color changes produce a gorgeous result. I then took the plunge and ordered the Forever Random wool (before La Lana went away). It was a special treat for myself for a significant birthday. The result is beautiful -- but the yarn color is much, much darker than that shown in the photo. So it's beautiful, but different. I love entrelac! Once you get the hang of it, the results are amazing, and people are convinced you are a knitting genius.
