Hi Sandi, I've been waiting for pictures of the fiished Camisa. The last I read was that you were ripping out to correct the shoulder fit. Have I missed the finished product?

As has been noted

the instructions for M1R state:

With left needle tip, lift strand between needles from back to front (Figure 1).

The illustration is of the left hand needle knitting into the stitch below the stitch just knitted on the right hand needle

I found your description of the shaping of this garment very instructive

Suggestion for the pattern store - the Lace Blouson top by Kim Dolce that was on the Galleries you were wearing. I believe that is was originally in the Summer 2004 issue of Interweave. Please.

Suggestion for pattern store: Frontier Blues Jacket from (sold out) Knit Scene Winter 2007 --- I already have this in my ravelry queue and would love to get the .pdf rather than search for the o.p. issue; I prefer keeping as much of my pattern library in pdf's as possible!

It looks like the illustrations for the M1R are the same as those for the right-slanting Lifted increase, even though they are describing different steps, as LaurieB pointed out.

Although I'm not currently knitting Camisa, I am knitting a similar top with bamboo yarn (pattern in Knitscene Spring 2007). The pattern is Butterfly and does not have a fitted body. I am adding a silver metallic thread to the bamboo yarn as I knit and it is adding a lovely shimmer to the fabric.

What a lovely gift a sweater like this would make. However, a common problem I have with sloped shoulders is that I am not broad enough across the collar bone to sustain that wide of a neckline. It would be a battle all day long trying to keep the caplet sleeve up!
