&lt;p&gt;the instructions for M1R state:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With left needle tip, lift strand between needles from back to front (Figure 1).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The illustration is of the left hand needle knitting into the stitch below the stitch just knitted on the right hand needle&lt;/p&gt;

The pattern is Butterfly and does not have a fitted body. I am adding a silver metallic thread to the bamboo yarn as I knit and it is adding a lovely shimmer to the fabric.&lt;/p&gt;

However, a common problem I have with sloped shoulders is that I am not broad enough across the collar bone to sustain that wide of a neckline. It would be a battle all day long trying to keep the caplet sleeve up!&lt;/p&gt;
