I get that you're in business to make money, but the posts lately are very specifically targeted ads for books, magazines and the show. Which are all great resources. But I'd prefer the knitting advice that was offered when this newsletter started.

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

Hi, I really like the idea of the galleries BUT your models all look about the same size. Could you find some larger and/or taller people so that we could see the knitted items on them?
Thanks!

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

Hi, I would like to say two things:
1.The galleries are so good and useful. Would love to see EVERY pattern demonstrated in the galleries...
2. Could you, Sandi, tell the people at IK that the only thing that is bad with IK is that you don´t have a kind of summary/gallery in the index of each magazine! It would be so useful, and much more simple, to search old patterns if you just had to open one special page in each edition to see what patterns were included (with photos). Looking forward to this!

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

I don't wear sweaters much, but I do enjoy learning about how things are supposed to fit and what would make them look better. I work in a local yarn shop and can advise our customers on what might work better for each person based on body type and style. Thank you for these galleries. They certainly help me sell the magazine.

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

As a larger gal myself, I'd like to see Sandi in more sweaters...but in sweaters that fit her, not in tiny sizes that don't. How am I to know how a sweater will look on me if it's several sizes too small on the model who's closest to my size? More larger sizes, please, please!

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

Sandi, this is "off-topic" (actually, returning to an old topic!), but I remember you talking about how you worked on a linen yarn to soften it up, but I don't remember the details or when it was. I'm making a cardi out of Crystal Palace Swiss Linen (100% linen), yarn I bought years ago & have lost the care instructions. Since the yarn tends to bleed color a lot, I intend to wash it to remove excess dye, but was wondering what I could do to soften it, too, as it's rather stiff?

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

I love looking at the galleries. My only critiscism this time is all your girls are lovely and slim. Could you hijack a passing member of the public who was a 44" bust or size 16 please?

re: Knits Spring 2009 Galleries: Part 2

I LOVE the galleries! Thank you for showing each of the models in the various knitted items! What a clever idea.
Thank you!

Also, any way to get more photos/models of the Parker Cardigan? I'm currently making this and have been anxiously awaiting the galleries.
