My father passed last July after years of declining health. The last years of his life were tough one, but he loved my hand-knit socks. They were the only thing that felt good on his poor, old feet. When I would come over, he would compliment me over and over. This will be my first Father's Day without a dad. How I would love to knit these up and give them to him this June.
