I am knitting The Crosstown Convertible, I am a very new beginner and chose this as a second project cause i had much success with a simple scarf. I did the correct cast on 87sts. but dont understand how you end row 1 & 2 with P3 or K3 sts. Are you ommitting the P2 right before these sts and just K or P to the end. This is what I get: P3, K2, P3, K2,...................P3, K2, P3, K1, P3????????

I would like the pattern for the knit cap that Kathleen was making for her brother. I bookmarked it, however, when I tried to pull it up it was all garbled. I would appreciate the instructions, this time I will print them in place of saving.

Liz: My wrap is just a large rectangle. I also wear the Clapotis a lot (from Knitty.com). I knit that out of two hanks of Handmaiden Sea Silk and it's beautiful.

Marilou: The colors for the Crosstown Convertible are listed on the pattern download, and the wool/color for Every Way is Zaol Canon (100% merino; 95 yd [87 m]/50 g): #522 pumpkin.

I was SOOOO glad it wasn't me! i started and tore out this wrap five times...even changed yarns types trying to get the cable correct. Finally found the errata on line. Whew.....but glad I kept up with it. It is beautiful. jbug

I'm with Amylap, I frogged and frogged and frogged that thing, but it is gorgeous now that I've got it right! The errata makes a HUGE difference!

I thought the Every Way Wrap looked really pretty, until I realized it wouldn't keep my back warm! I wish the same front (vest view) could have an actual back. I realize it would then be a different garment, but I can dream can't I!

Wow, what can I say, I have to try and make this scarf/shawl/vest in one. I love the color chosen, very versatile. It will be a talking piece once worn. I am excited!

The Every Day Wrap is beautiful and I have started to knit it. Please note that there is an errata for this pattern and it makes a BIG difference when you try to knit it. I did not know this when I started and it was quite frustrating!

Can you give some advice on adjusting the pattern for petites??? I'm 4'11''.
