Thanks for the Ornament Patterns. I want to try the Cabled Globe but have a couple of questions:

1. The stitch directions explain to repeat the cast on 7 times. However the pattern directions say "CO 12 Sts". Does one chain stitch (from stitch directions) equal one cast on stitch (from pattern directions)? So one would "repeat the Emily Ocker Circular Beginning 12 times"?

2. Ok, I figured out that f&b must mean front & back. But what does tbl or tb1 mean?

The knitted 6-pointed snowflake is great. Now, does anyone know where I could find a chart for a 6-point snowflake knitted row by row? All I can locate are either 4- or 8-pointed snowflakes and I really want a more realistic one. I'd like to knit a double knit hat with that design for a very dear friend who knows that snowflakes only have 6 points.

I really like the knitted tree ornaments but the stiff fingers of these eighty year old hands have trouble handling double-pointed needles. It would be nice to have patterns converted for use with two regular needles.

I really like the knitted Christmas ornaments but the stiff fingers of these eighty year old hands have a problem handling double - pointed needles. It would be nice to have a few of these lovely patterns converted for use with 2 straight needles.
