I am late on the fair-isle mitts...Christmas knitting has taken its toll.... Is the pattern available somewhere so that I can make myself a pair?? I am dieing to knit fair isle and the mitts look great...maybe I am not looking in the right place.... direction is appreciated. Thanks D

I've been focussed on finishing all my Xmas gifts, but have been dying to get to the Heather Hoodie Vest. I just now finished the last of the presents, I have a great yarn for the Hoodie Vest, and a KAL is exactly what I need to get started!

My suggestion for the next KAL is "IWK Summer 2007 Oriel Lace Blouse." I've fallen in love with lace knitting and have been itching to make this lovely blouse. It would be helpful if people could suggest alternates to the "official" yarn as well.

I know the KAl is done but I wondered if these mitts can be made ignoring the colorwork and making them one color. Do you have to change technique or stitches?etc? Thanks, Linda D
