&lt;p&gt;I plan to use it on the helmet liner for our troops on the next one I do. &amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;m sure it will be a better cast on for the heavy use the helmet liners are sure to get. &amp;nbsp; Thanks.&lt;/p&gt;

The Norwegian Cast-on... if you&amp;#39;re ending up with 2 stiches (I was in the beginning), then on step 4 you have to turn your thumb so that the thumb loop slides over the thread on the needle that you just placed from your index finger. I just love your tips and projects...thanks Knitting Daily!&lt;/p&gt;
