I loved the article by/about Nancy Bush in the latest issue of Interweave Knits - especially when she talked about when she started Scottish Country dancing. I am also a Scottish Country dancer (and teacher), so I shared the article at dance class tonight. I have started making socks, but not kilt hose, yet.

There are lots of patterns that go up to a 52-inch bust. Check the pattern sizing in the preview to see if there's something that'll work for you.

Hurray for Mona's Jacket by Megs Kandis!

Sophisticated, elegant, interesting and grown-up.

A good, wearable length, too.

It's a nice change from all the itty bitty cardi thingies

that don't close in front and always (at least on me,

and I'm not very big) look a size too small --

or shrunken.
