I have been searching for a pattern for "Pedicure socks". My light just came on.

Recycle our own socks.

Help me think of great knit or crochet ideas to finish the toe with bright beautiful fiber trim, after I cut the toe off.i

The "pedicure sock" is named for it's literal useage and my grand daughters wear flip-flops on their feet often, and they will complain of being cold, so lets create a "KOOL" recycle sock.

I'm fascinated by the idea of recycling a sheet into a knitted rug... Does anyone know of a blog or post that could give me more information? That is sheer genius.
