I voted some time ago and can't remember if it was for the Frontier Blues Jacket or the Gamine Tank. I would be tickled with either project. A bit disappointed that a choice hasn't been made. Original post said the decision would be made Jan 3rd. Does anyone know why the delay?

My first blog entry and hopefully my first knitalong if the Seaweed Cardigan is chosen - this will be so adaptable through Spring and into autumn, and i can see my way to starting it even in our hot summer here in Oz. happy New Year to all knitters everywhere - what a great community to belong to!!

Hi 2bChristine, I have answered your questions about how to get a hold of the monkey sock hat pattern and how to add ear flaps to it. Remember that this is a holiday season for many many people and there may not be more responses to your knitting issues until the holiday season is over. And by posting your question in the other posts, you did just fine and you did post correctly in them. Please check out my last posting to you in the HATS CRAZY forum.

You can also do what many knitters do -- post your request into your computer's search engine.

I love the Gamine Tank by Cathy Carron. If I was to make any, this would be the one I would make.

Linda, thank you for sharing your experience in making the Gamine Tank. I used the lace stitch for a different sweater which I knit back and forth and had no problems with it twisting. I will keep this in mind as I would love to make the Gamine Tank.

I voted for the Frontier Blues Jacket - it's my second favorite of the four. I've already made the Gamine Tank so didn't vote for it, though I like it the best. It came out just like the photo and is very flattering - lots of compliments! I did find that the lower lace portion of the tank developed a twist to one side that I couldn't block out after trying twice. Anyway, I think the twist is from knitting it in the round. If I make it again I will try to write out the instructions so that I can knit at least that portion back and forth to prevent the twisting. (BTW, you can believe the advice about lots of negative ease in this piece.)

I voted, but I'd like to voice an ongoing concern that the patterns are not being offered in small sizes. My actual bust measurement is 30", and none of these 4 patterns comes anywhere close to being a good fit in the smallest offered size. I'm finding this to be a problem more and more with the patterns in IK and its sister magazines. Please consider expanding the size ranges offered, or at least have the tech department crunch some numbers for a wider range of sizes for the particular pattern that is chosen for the knit along. Thank you~

This is unrelated but I'm new and not sure how to post a question? I want to knit a sock monkey hat for my daughter to wear, but can't find a pattern. Does anyone have a pattern to share or a site where I can order a pattern?

Interesting choices, but when I think about it, the only one that I can really picture myself wearing is that gorgeous Seaweed Cardigan. It would make a really versatile transition piece and I think I might even have the yarn for it in my stash!
