I totally feel the same way about Ravelry.

I get lost for hours. What a delicious time-sucker it is! Like stepping into your favorite local yarn store during a busy knitting club hour.

one of my favorite things on Ravelry is the ability to see one single pattern in all sorts of colours and modifications.. this variety and the notes added by the people doing the project make something that looked like a huge mountain to become something easily attainable.

I also like that we can directly PM anyone and ask for help in a project they did, not only just asking in the forums, but on a one-on-one basis.. really adds bridges to many a complex pattern :)

I love being able to see how others made a pattern and what possible issues they ran into or changes that they made. It really helps you know ahead of time if you need to do things differently. I will friend you.

I just LOVE ravelry. I don't know what I would do without it. The data base is incredible and it awesome to see the garnments made in different sizes and with different yarn, and to see some of the changes people do in the patterns. Katheleen, I'll add you to my friends list!
