@knittingfanatic -- you'll make 6 stitches by knitting f & b times 3. I imagine that slip knot will open up a bit as these six stitches are worked into it; I'd suggest pulling on the tail to tighten it.

I have been trying to figure out how to knit f&b in one stitch (slipknot) to get 6 stitches. Please explain a little clearer. Thanks...and I love getting my Interweave Knits e-zine on my computer.

When you say the book is available for "other devices," does that include Kindle and Nook? I'm so-so close to getting a Nook Color, it would be great to know that Interweave publications, including Knits and Spin-off, were compatible with it.

When you say "other devices," does that include Kindle and/or Nook? Is Interweave Knits available for Kindle or Nook? I'm learning toward a Nook Color and am hoping my favorite knitting magazines will be available to read on it.

Knitted bottle sleeve........what a great idea! I hate having the red wine drip on anything. How about a knitted bottle bag? I love to give wine in a hand made 'sack' for gifts. Usually using old quilt fabrics, but knitted, to use up left overs would be great. Got a pattern for that?
