I&amp;#39;m making a Fair Isle sweater, also with lots of different color ends, and I was dreading the thought of trying to tie them off. I&amp;#39;m using very fine yarn I bought in Peru - it is over-twisted to start with, and so hard that it doesn&amp;#39;t hold a knot! Meant for weaving, perhaps. I have to let the ball hang and unwind every yard before knitting it. (I unwind a batch and put the yarn on large bobbins now.) This has made me unenthusiastic about knitting this project, which makes me sad. Next time, I&amp;#39;ll do something bulky that will go fast!&lt;/p&gt;
