I believe I will use circular needles for the whole thing - no double points. &amp;nbsp;I am knitting my first hat now. I&amp;#39;ve never used double points. But I think it will work using the magic loop method or as I&amp;#39;m doing right now using a 16 in circular needle with a join. &amp;nbsp;What fun. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Reading the comments seems to indicate those that didn&amp;#39;t all ready know the technique weren&amp;#39;t able to figure it out from the video and that&amp;#39;s the only part of the simple pattern that needed explanation. &lt;/p&gt;
