Yes,I would love to win this package of wonderful Knitting stuff especially if they can throw in a pair of circular knitting needles and a few different sizae of straight ones too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those of us who just learned to knit for free at a local Library club,and those of us who have very little money right now,because their Hubby just got a new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank-GOD,Above,I have been Crocheting for about 3years,and I love it but I thought while my Mother is still alive and can see alittle I would learn how to knit. I'm currently teaching and encouraging my 11 year old niece to knit. She's a very artistic and crafty child and I see a kindred spirit and passion for all things fiber artsy whenever we're together! I'd love to win this awesome sweepstakes and share with my niece the Knitters Library! Thank you.

A am working helping to form a group to show different craft like knitting, crochet and other kind of craft to our young people boys and girls and everybody in the community. Our center will be in the school , so I expect that student will be curious and visit us. So if I win something, it will serve to many people . Something like that : ) will appear to my face .

For six years, I have been volunteering at my local 4th through 6th grade school at lunch time. I began with crocheting and added looming three years ago. Last year I added knitting when one 5th grade girl asked if she could sit with us and work on her knitting which led to my teaching seven other 5th graders this skill. Over the years, mostly girls come, but a few boys have joined us. I provide all the yarn, hooks, looms, and needles. As a reward for finishing a scarf, I crochet each student a hat. Some years, I have only eight students while occasionally I have as many as 25 learning a craft.

In the past two weeks, I have taught knitting to two Girl Scout troops at the school. One troop has 8 girls and the other has 12 girls. The girls are anxious to learn, and so are the leaders.

My 19-year-old son wants to learn to knit. When he is out on college on summer break I hope he will have time to sit down and learn. He is majoring in graphic design, and I keep telling him he could someday use that degree to design beautiful knitwear and be a famous designer.

what a great giveaway. I taught my daughter, my coworker, my best friend, my sister, and a Girl Scout troop of about 15 girls.

happy to share what I've learned, while vacationing last week I got my sister started knitting, not sure how much time she will have to continue developing the skill with a 3 and 5 yo plus a new puppy in the house :-)
