Thank you for the great patterns I like to keep knitting them and then put them aside so I have a beautiful handmade gift ready when I need one! I also try and knit some mittens and scarves during the summer to use as little gifts during the fall and winter months.

I always make baby gifts by machine and by hand. They always seem to get the most "Ooo's" and "Ahhh's" ... and tears. Thanks so much for this "gift" ... and on my birthday! It means more than any other gift, but don't tell my family that!

Thank you! A neighbor of mine was telling me about the lovely baby shower given for her daughter. I noted though, that she mentioned some items had to be returned to the store, as they were duplicate gifts. I thought about this when reading your article, and that how dear a hand made baby gift really is. It is always an "original" & treasured. Thanks for these, as they don't necessarily take a lot of time if you need to make a gift quickly.
