Knit's So Funny: Sockupied Caption Contest

Feb 27, 2013

The last page of Sockupied, which we call “The Last Stitch,” has always been one of my favorites. The 2010 issue featured Franklin Habit’s Cinderella cartoon. Anyone who’s read Franklin’s book, It Itches: A Stash of Knitting Cartoons, can picture me jumping up and down and clapping when I first saw the curtain rise on the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella discussing the glass slippers.

From there we had a paint-your-own-argyle in the Spring 2011 issue, saw our socks off on summer vacation in Fall 2011, and got in campaign spirit for Fall 2012.

But the most delightful ones have been opportunities for you, dear sock knitter, to share what tickles your funny bone. We decided to try something new in the Spring 2013 issue of Sockupied: a caption contest.
