Marcel’s Sweater (page 16)

The key to the charts on page 18 is incorrect. The corrected key reads:

The ssk should be worked as foll: Slip 2 sts individually kwise, replace these sts on left needle, knit them tog through their front loops.

Dolman Updated (page 30)

Instructions for Left Front (Right Front) should read:
Work as for right (left) back until all sleeve incs have been made—122 (127, 133, 133, 141) sts. Cont even for 15 (17, 17, 21, 23) rows, ending with a RS (WS) row.

For the 2 fronts, rather than following Shape Sleeve Top instructions for backs:

Lace-Edge Raglan (page 30)
Instructions omitted from the end of Finishing:
Back Edging with Mitered Corners: With smaller needles, RS facing, and beg at top of back left side slit, pick up and knit 25 sts along side slit (about 5 sts for every 7 rows); pick up and knit 1 st in corner and mark this st (work this st in St st throughout); pick up and knit 86 (94, 100, 107, 114, 121) sts along bottom edge to next corner (about 3 sts in each Rev St st section and 4 sts in each cable rib section); pick up and knit 1 st in corner and mark this st (work this st in St st throughout); pick up and knit 25 sts along back right side slit (about 5 sts for every 7 rows) - 139 (146, 152, 159, 166, 173) sts. Knit 1 row on WS. Knit 5 more rows, and at the same time inc 1 st before and after each marked corner st every RS row - 151 (158, 164, 171, 178, 185) sts. With WS facing, BO all sts kwise. Sew top of side slit edging to bottom of CO sts as for fronts.

Needles: For working the edgings, you may find it helpful to use an optional size 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 29" (70-cm) or longer.

Exotic Fibers for Knitters (page 42)
One micron equals 1/1000 of a millimeter (not of a meter, as stated on page 43).

Furlana Hat and Mittens (page 48)
Both smaller and larger needles are used to work the hat, but only the larger needles (the size 6 dpns) are used for the mittens.

Cuff: With natural and 2 larger dpn, CO 51 sts. Do not join. Work linen st in rows (back and forth) until piece measures 1" (2.5 cm) from beg, ending with a WS row. Next row: [Work 14 sts in patt, ssk, k2tog] 2 times, work 15 sts in patt—47 sts rem. Cont in linen st until cuff measures 2" (5 cm), ending with a WS row. Next row: (RS) Work 6 sts in patt, ssk, k2tog, work 27 sts in pat, ssk, k2tog, work 6 sts in patt—43 sts rem. Work 1 WS row, dec 1 st—42 sts rem.

Geek Chic (page 69)
The correct URL for Pat Ashforth and Steve Plummer’s website is www.woollythoughts.com (the printed version is missing an “l”). One of the knitters of the Klein bottle hats was incorrectly listed as Beth Lambert. The correct name is Betty Lampen.

Short-Row Striped Pullover (page 74)
There are two errors in Short-Row Sequence 2. Short-Row 13 should read: Repeat Short-Row 12. After Short-Row 26 do not omit the last 2 rows of the stripe sequence.

DNA Cable Chart (page 116)
Row 19 should read p5, 2/2RC, k7, k2tog, make 1 increase, p2

Forest Path Stole (page 24)
Row 37 of the charts for Lily of the Valley and Birch Leaves charts (page 28) are incorrect. For Lily of the Valley, Row 37 should be worked as foll: K16, k2tog, k1—18 sts. For there to be the correct number of sts before the dec, the box to the right of the k2tog symbol should be gray to indicate "no stitch." For Birch Leaves, Row 37 should be worked as foll: K9, sl 1 kwise, k2tog, psso, k6, k2tog, k1—18 sts. For there to be the correct number of sts before and between the decs, the boxes on each side of the double dec symbol and the box to the right of the k2tog symbol should be gray to indicate "no stitch."

Knit Two Together (page 35)
Jill Montgomery based her skirt pattern, as Elizabeth Zimmerman based her circular Pi Shawl pattern, on the formula: a circle's circumference=2πr. (πr² gives a circle's area).

Luminous Lace Camisole (page 56)
The instructions for the right cup are incomplete. After working 31 (31, 41, 41) sts in St st for 1/2 (1, 1 1/2, 2)" (1.3 [2.5, 3.8, 5] cm), insert the foll: For C and D cups only: K2tog at beg of last row—31 (31, 40, 40) sts rem. Cont with lace patt as written.

The front neck shaping should begin on a RS row (not a WS row as stated).

When working the button band, join live sts of band to left front.
The chart key for 1/1PLC should read: sl 1 st onto cn and hold in front, p1, k1 tbl from cn.

The chart symbol key for triple wrap is a RS maneuver.

Raccoon Jacket (page 54)
The panel #7 directions beginning at the bottom of the first column on page 57 should read: "Panel 7: Change to gray/black. Work as for left body panel 7, reversing shaping and working short rows on WS Rows 5, 7, and 9–72 (77, 79, 81) sts rem.

Completely CUT the entire last sentence at the end of panel #7, the sentence that reads "On Row 10 BO ... work to end—44 sts."

The beginning of the next section should read:
"Panels 8, 9, and 10: Work as for left body panels 8, 9, and 10, omitting the BO in Row 1 of panel 8. On Row 2 of panel 8, BO 29 (34, 36, 38) sts, knit to end–43 sts rem. Cont as for left body panels, reversing shaping, and working short rows on Rows 5, 7, and 9..."

Additionally, the instructions for the sleeve (page 58) are missing a section. After working the

Contrasting band and before Shape cap right edge, insert the following:

"V" fill:
Row 1: (RS) Knit to center m, sl m, wrap next st, turn.
Row 2: Purl to center m, sl m, wrap next st, turn.
Row 3: Knit to 1 st beyond center m, wrap next st, turn.
Row 4: Purl to 1 st beyond center m, wrap next st, turn.
Row 5: Knit to 2 sts beyond center m, wrap next st, turn.
Row 6: Purl to 2 sts beyond center m, wrap next st, turn.

Cont in this manner, working 1 st more beyond center m on each RS row before wrapping and turning, and working the same number of sts beyond center m on the foll WS row. On the final 2 rows you will end having just wrapped the edge sts. Next row: (RS) After turning for last wrapped st, knit to end. On the foll row, purl across all sts—41 (44, 46, 46) sts. Cont with Shape cap right edge as written.
