is the provisional cast on that Lisa Myers demonstrated in this episode written anywhere? I tried to follow the video but I'm not good at mimicking movements that are mirror to me - just call me stupid or a gimp I don't care, would love to find a drawn diagram for the cast on. I could really use it when making circular ornaments and hats!!!!! Please someone tell me there is a series of diagrams or another mini video on You Tube.

Last week on your program there was a demonstration on how to correct the uneven rows when knitting a stripe in the round. I missed which show it was and I can't seem to find it . Can anyone advise on which series and show number?

I just discovered your show in PBS in my area. I'm in Lambertville, MI but I get the Toledo, OH PBS station and the Bowling Green, OH PBS station. I love your show, so helpful. I'm now pulling up the old shows on my PC. keep up the good work.

I would like to try fleting but am allergic to the wool. and yes I have downloaded the yarn market thingy on the yarn but didn't see anything that didn't have wool in it. If anyone knows any yarn that can be fleted but DOES NOT HAVE WOOL in it please e-mail dracofly_rose@yahoo.com thank you

Please, please, please publish detailed step-by-step illustrations of Lisa Myers' provisional cast-on technique for the center of the Crumpet Beret in episode 113. I recently purchased the Series 100 DVD and discovering that technique was the answer to a prayer. I want to use this provisional cast-on for items knitted from the center outward in lieu of the figure-8 cast-on, which I seem to find impossible to execute. For example, for the linen basket liners in The Knitter's Book of Yarn.

I have watched her demo in episode 113 multiple times and it goes so fast that I still can't get it. Furthermore, it was shot with the camera facing her, instead of from the knitter's point of view, which makes it even more difficult to interpret.

I need sequential still pictures or drawings from the knitter's point of view, not a facing view, to follow it. I haven't been able to find this technique described anywhere else in print or on the web. I can't be the only one with this problem. Help!

Our local station just aired this episode. Is the pattern for the pink shawl at the beginning of the show available anywhere? I've found the yarn on Yarn Market.com, but you've given no clues about the pattern.

Just watched a preview of the show. It will be fantastic. Can't wait for it to come to Boston tv. I fell instantly in love with the Shauna sweater (I'm a cable freak!). Sandi of KD said we would be able to download a free pattern of the Shauna Sweater. I can't seem to find the download, can you please help all of the frustrated Knitting Daily readers?
