I saw a wonderful bind off method on episode 604 with Eunny using a purl method. I wrote the instructions down, but of course I can't find it. Can anyone help?

The Interlaced Stitch instructions are very confusing. The way the pattern is written is not what the picture shows. The pattern states: Row 12—Sl 4 sts dropping extra wraps, then cross 2 over 2 as in Row 6 and knit these 4; *sl 8, cross, and knit as in Row 6; rep from * on each group of 8 sts across row to last 4 sts, end by crossing 2 over 2. However, the picture looks to me to be a repeat of Row 6—*Sl 8 sts wyib, dropping all extra wraps, thus forming 8 long sts on right-hand needle. Then insert left-hand needle into the first 4 of these 8 long sts and pass them over the second 4 sts. Then return all sts to left-hand needle and knit the 8 sts in this crossed order, the 2nd 4 first and the original 4 next. Rep from * on each group of 8 sts. The picture clearly shows a series of 8 stitch, 4x4 cross overs. But the Row 12 instructions have you making a 4 stitch 2x2 cross over on each end and a 8 stitch 4x4 cross over in the middle. This would make the motifs not line up, instead be staggered with the motif offset instead of lining up. Am I the only one who is confused by this? Please help. On the bright side I LOVE the show and watch faithfully.

I love watching Knitting Daily and usually the camera work is exceptional however, I really wanted to see close up the lace fixing segment and the camera work was so bad that it was pretty much a useless segment. Very disappointing.
