In this episode they featured a woman who sells kits to teach young people how to knit and crochet.  Who is that woman and how can I get her kits?

Maybe it's my inexperience talking, but it seems Eunny often shows how to do techniques a ways into the piece but doesn't show how to start. The bias bands are a case in point. Do you start by casting on 5 or 11 and start immediately on the increases and decreases or do you cast on fewer and increase into the technique? The pieces she works on in the "Getting Started" segment don't have patterns available so how do I find out how to do them from the start?
