The fall 2009 issue of Knitscene has gone live--have you seen
the preview? With a new issue comes new designs, new yarns, new patterns to
mark up and stitch away the hours with, new techniques to gradually master, new
styling ideas, and now, a new blog to map out all these adventures.
Check back regularly for talk about patterns, photo shoots,
techniques, sizing, and plus-sized issues. We'll have designers guest blogging,
and our own version of the Knitting Daily Galleries, just for Knitscene. I hope
you'll share your finished objects with us, and tell us what you love in the
new issue--comment away! If there's something you'd like to see in an upcoming
issue, please share that as well.
After the TNNA show in Ohio last month, I'm obsessed with fall
yarns and cold-weather designs. I have a big tub full of yarn to play with, as
I plan the winter/spring 2010 issue of Knitscene . . . but in the meantime, it's nice
to pause and enjoy this hot-off-the-press new fall issue. I hope you enjoy it,
too.
