I vote for Nora's sweater also. I want to see how you seam the inset at the back. I can set in sleeves now, but that inset worries me.

I'd love to see you make the Leitmotif just 'cuz I want to make one for myself and I'd like to see how it goes for you! It is a very pretty sweater. I also love the Proverbial Cap...if I didn't already have a cabled hat on the needles, I would definitely be casting that one on right now!

I love the Leyfi sweater myself, but I think the Cloisonne Jacket would look wonderful on you, maybe with the additional closures or the one moved further down the cardigan (similar to the placement of the closure on the Leitmotif Cardigan). I'd love to see what color combination you'd choose.

The Leitmotif Cardigan is a great choice, too. I like the cables. Lots of detail on that one without adding bulk around the waist, which I tend to veer away from for myself.

On the other hand, you've knit the Farmer's Market Cardigan very recently. Do you have enough cardigans (if that's even possible) for the moment? Or are there other knit gaps you'd like to fill before winter?

Hi Sandi,

I would love to see your knitting experiences with the Leitmotif Cardi and the Proverbial cap and bavarian mitts. The Hawthorne pullover is quite nice too, but if you'd like a smaller project for a bt the cap and mittens would be interesting and fun.

How about weaving an inch then going back over where the yarn ended and do another inch, maybe 3 times. That is what I usually do and it works for me.

Yikes, before you try superglue or a glue gun, try fabric glue. I haven't used it myself but a friend who is very particular about her knitting likes to use it on the ends.

Remember when we voted in the Farmers Market Cardigan as your next project...and then you began lusting after Nora's Sweater (on the cover of IK Winter 2009 if I recall correctly) and you almost succumbed to temptation????? Maybe Nora's time has come...although the Leitmotif cardigan looks very interesting. And you should definitely knit Meg's hat, no matter what!
