Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Maltese Fisherman’s Hat is one of her
sculptural designs and fits the head beautifully: the flaps curve
around the ears and may be buttoned (or tied) up or down. The
back-of-neck shaping is critical to keep the hat form-fitting and snug.
In this updated version of her classic, Elizabeth’s daughter Meg
Swansen adds colorwork and texture options.
