Love these! I have a sister-in-law who is a HUGE Colorado Rockies Fan. I smell a birthday gift coming soon to a pair of knitting needles :-)

Since I seem to spend a lot of time waiting, I always have scarves with me.  I have about five going at the moment (Christmas/birthday gifts); at the moment: two entrelac; two of those easy Noro stripeys and one rather complex lace so I can pick and choose depending on how long I'll be waiting (have you been to a doctor's office recently?) and the choices assure I won't suffer from small project boredom.   Re baseball:  For years my sister had prime Dodger seats and I got invited a lot.  The problem was baseball was so boring (I love college football and basketball)) I spent the entire game either in a hot dog or beer line.  At really good games, determined by who I could find to talk to in the lines, I could avoid ever actually watching the game.  This all ended when she discovered that every time she took me, the Dodgers lost.  AS IF!  Unfortunately, not even knitting would make baseball tolerable.

Too Funny!  I'm so glad I'm not the only bored woman at the ball park!  My husband and four step kids all play ball on different teams.  As if that isn't enough I'm dragged to major league games AND minor league games.  The wrist bands are really cute though-could make it more bearable!  I would like to know where to find the lettering too.  Thanks!

Thanks

I have brought my knitting and crocheting to school with me.  It's definitely a conversation starter.  I'm going to school for computer networking, so some of the comments I get are interesting.  I've managed to refrain from knitting during lecture so far.  I've also brought it to the doctor's office.  Yeah, long waits.

I knitt Socks for Soldiers, so there is lots of K1,P1 and these legs are long. One must follow Army regulations. So in line, out they come and they are good advertisment and conversation piece. Also makes the baseball game more tolerable. San Francisco basball park is one cold place. The needles stick to your fingers.

I love the sweat band pattern--but I must admit to being kind of dense about reading the pattern. Is this for double pointed needles (working it circular) or for straight needles--(working it back and forth)? It doesn't say how to finish it up except for the embroidery.

By the way, I too carry my knitting around everywhere. I used to hate waiting at the doctor's office--now I look forward to it as valuable knitting time!!

I need a Boston Red Sox logo pattern.

My son is a rabid fan.(my fault.) As I stated somewhere on site.I've been caught knitting in church and at high school sporting events.

Only place I never could was during Jury Duty.alas....

they probably would have agreed with a friend of mine who refers to me as Madame De`Farge`.

Happy fourth of July USA and a happy 4th of July to everyone else too.

I tried to download the sparkly wristband pattern(free) and it kept telling me there is a missing file and wouldn't download the pattern.

It said there is a html error.

I teach knitting at 4-H.  I was wondering if I could share this pattern with my knit group.  One of the young girls(10 yrs), Carries her knitting to meetings that she has to go with her mother.

One of the other girls Aunt knits in the barn when she is waiting for the birthing of the piglets.

Had to download the PDF a second time, maybe the first got corrupted. I would also like embroidery patterns for team logos. I could probably work them out on my own if necessary but would rather use official versions and don't want to run afoul of copyright issues.

Okay, join me to the list of ladies who can't get this to down load. Even if I right click and tell it to open in another window/tab - I get this page again instead of a PDF pattern.
