So cute!  Very en-mode! Will make for the teen nieces as X-mas gifts. How can pattern be adjusted to make in a stretchy yarn, such as a sock yarn?

I love MITTS! The yarn is lovely too. Has anyone thought of felting them? I would think they would be a great beginner's project.

BTW I am with JoyZ  and ElaineJ on the picture size. It is very hard to "see" the pictures without downloading the PDF first.

The mitts are very cute. Once you download the pattern the picture on the second page makes the mitts easy to see.

I made mine the day the pattern became available......they were so comfy that I fell asleep with them on!

I have knitted the mitts, just need to sew them together.  Easy pattern.

Hi, I made the mitts just yesterday and they were too big when I followed the pattern repeating the 14 rows 3 times plus thru row 11. I knitted one mitt paying closer attention to the width and it was perfect repeating the 14 rows 2 times plus thru row 11. I wonder if there is a mistake in the pattern.

Besides this, I love the way the pattern is written. Thank you.

QUESTION: Does anybody know the actual/approximate yardage of the mitts?  I have some small skeins of homespun I'd love to use up.

I am in the process of knitting these mitts, the first of what I hope is many times. I am knitting them for the daughter of a friend who wears this kind of fingerless gloves/mitts quite a bit and now needs a pair to match a new coat and cute scarf (that mom is knitting). I really am enjoying the short-row technique and especially the clarity of the directions which provide written instructions and clear graphics.

I have been searching the internet, all the knitting web sites I can find, videos, etc. to learn how to do MOSAIC  or SLIP STITCH knitting.  Reading the charts is different from reading "regular" chart.  

Barbara Walkekr's charts are still different from the other mosaic charts.  HELP please!!

I work on the computer all day and last year my hands were ice cold all winter.  I knew I wanted to knit several different pairs of mitts to keep comfortable in the office this year.  I just finished these - they are wonderful!  Super easy and super fast to knit up.  I think all of my fellow office dwellers will receive these as Christmas gifts!  Next up, the Fresco Fair Isle Mitts from Fall 2008 IK...

Is there a reason for knitting them on straight needles instead of in the round?  It's kind of cool having the stitches run the other way, but is that the only reason?
