On row 5 it says to "insert needle from front under long B strand of Row 2 and k next st". When I do this, I pick up that loop (long strand) so now I have extra loops on the needle. Is this right? Do these loops get worked in later? I'm confused and on the video it only shows the slip stitch row....

This Fallen Leaves scarf is also part of the Scarves Throw or Afghan which I knitted in its entirety. Unfortunately some of the yarns called for were too bulky and thick for the general overall even appearance of the throw and appear as thick lumps amongst the lighter weight yarns.

I am attempting to mount this on felt, and use the item as a wall hanging.

I did change some of those bulky yarns out for lighter weights and changed some of the patterns to other stitches more in keeping with the general theme of the design. Overall it is very nice with my changes.

I'm not fond of the design shown but I think it would be easy to adjust it for individual tastes. Definitely worth trying
