Sorry to not get back to you sooner, Russellpjr13. I published this on the ravelry page for this pattern awhile back, so I hope you found it there.

Repeat Rows 3-8 until piece measures approx. 96” from CO edge., ending on Row 8. Work in Garter st for five rows, binding off all sts on the third row.

SHOULD read “binding off all sts on the final row.”

I am having trouble with the last part of the white swan scarf...where it says work in garter st for five rows, binding off all sts on the third row....??? Doesn't make sense to me. Thanks for any clarification you give me

Why don't posts like this and the recent Super Bowl XLVI knitting project announcement post make it into the KD newsletter? They're much more genuine and interesting than trying to sell us a product every single time.
