Simply Sockupied 2012
Simply Elegant Cable Socks:
•In section Heel Flap, the sentence before "Size 61/4" (16 cm) only" should be omitted.
•In section Shape Gussets, the references to sl st should omit "sl":
Rnds now beg at center of heel flap. With RS facing and Needle 1, k2tog, k5 (5, 6), pick up and knit 1 st in
each sl every second st along edge of heel flap; work in patt across 34 (40, 44) held instep sts (Needles 2 and 3); with Needle 4, pick up and knit 1 st in each sl every second st along other edge of heel flap, k6 (6, 7) heel sts. There should be the same number of sts on Needles 1 and 4.

Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off: Although the step-by-step directions and the illustrations are correct, the first two paragraphs describing the technique contain an error. They should read as follows:
This technique was originally published in Knitty and was developed by Jeny Staiman. It is a standard BO with a yarnover added before each st. When working yo before a knit st, work the yo backward (bring yarn to the front over the needle). When working yo before a purl st, work the yo as usual. Keep work loose.

(Both charted and Row by row versions)
After completing Row 23 of Cables and Short-rows for the fifth time, you will have worked 119 rows (not 95).
Gauge: 21 sts and 31 rows = 4" (10 cm) in lace pattern.
Foot portion (both socks): Rep Rnds 1–32 until the foot measures 7½ (7¾, 8¼)"
(19 [19.5, 21] cm) from back of heel, or about 1½ (1¾, 2)" (3.8 [4.5, 5] cm) less than
desired total foot length, ending with an odd-numbered round

Cuff clarification: All slipped stitches are worked purlwise with the yarn held to the wrong side of the work. On Row 2 of the cuff, which is a WS row, slip the stitches while holding the yarn to the side of the work that faces you.
In Chrissy Gardiner's heel calculator for toe-up flap heels, the instructions omit a step.
Under Turn Heel, Row 1 should say, "Work across instep stitches in pattern" before knitting the specified number of heel stitches.
Tech: Bind-offs for Toe-up Socks, the Kitchener Bind-off
The written instructions and illustrations for performing this bind-off are correct. However, we regret that there is an error in the video. At 3:08, the directions spoken aloud say to slip the second stitch of the round purlwise, but the video incorrectly shows the stitch being slipped knitwise. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.

Glossary correction: The directions for sl 2, k1, p2sso should read: Slip 2 stitches together knitwise as if to k2tog, knit 1 st, then use the point of the left needle to pass the 2 slipped stitches over the knit stitch and off the right needle.
Leg clarification: Work Rows 1–28 of Feather chart once, then work Rows 1–14 of Feather chart once more—piece measures about 6" (15 cm) from CO.
Glossary correction: The directions for sl 2, k1, p2sso should read: Slip 2 stitches as if to k2tog, knit next stitch on left needle, then use tip of left needle to lift 2 slipped sts over knit stitch—2 sts dec’d.
Armhole edging: Omit the purl round just after the 5 knit rnds and before the Dec rnd.
Tier 1, Triangle 1, Row 2: Sl 1, k2, ssk (last st of triangle and first st of rectangle from previous tier), turn.
Row 4: Sl 1, k1, sssk (last st of triangle and first 2 sts of rectangle from previous tier), turn.
Armhole edging: Omit the purl round just after the Inc rnd and before the 5 knit rnds.
After the increases have been worked, there are 338 (418, 506) sts, not 170 (210, 254) sts.
