Have to give a shout out to one of my local yarn shops, too -- Paradise Fibers (www.paradisefibers.net). They carry the Kollage SQUARE needles, and you can get them through mail order from their website.
If you want to give them a try, be sure and get the ones with the FIRM cable. The original soft cables are really squirrelly; like two knitting needles connected by a piece of string. The size 2 square needles are equal to about a #1 round needle (at least for me). The nice thing about the square needles is it makes a beautiful, really uniform stitch, which is nice if you are doing just a simple knit sock without any pattern.
