I am having a bit of aprehension with the front notched edge. I am not sure how to finish this hat. It says to pick up the stitches in the notched edge then join in the round but do I join it in the round with the notched part only or join with the rest of the hat edging confused... Can I find a place to explain this a bit? thank you
Join the sts picked up at the notch in the round with the rest of the hat edging. The it will form one continuous edge. Take a look at the second picture from the Ravelry project and you can see how this turns out.
