Some time ago I found instructions for knitting rosebuds -- it may have been on this Knitting Daily site or somewhere else. Basically, it started by casting on 3-5 stitches and then increasing in such a way that the long piece made a spiral that curled in on itself forming a tight little "bud". It was a very simple useful thing, and I'm frustrated that I can't remember how it goes. I keep trying different ways of increases and k2tog but all I get is triangles or some other useless shape. Can you please help?
