Hello from Livermore California. Just wanted to introduce myself and join in the knitting conversations. I do teach knitting and have been knitting for about forty years, taught by my mother. Adriana living in Nevada. I just started talking to a lady named Andrea about making socks, (Introduce yourself - knitting in the polling place.) I have learned everything I know from books except the very basic, cast on, knit and purl stiches, which my aunt taught me when I was 11. Socks have always intimidated me so I have never tried them. I'm about to though. Welcome aboard, and happy knitting.
