We were talking about weaving books in a meeting yesterday and it got me to thinking. If you were stranded on a dessert island and could only have three weaving books what would they be?

One would have to be Debbie Chandler's How to Weave. Great to teach yourself or as a reference for that stuff you never can remember. Davidson's overshot pattern book would be a must for me as I love to do overshots. Third probably Collingwood Rug weaving.
Atwater's "Shuttlecraft", Strickler's "8 Shaft Patterns" & van der Hoogt's "Book of Drafting". And Becky Ashenden's two DVD's about Swedish warping and weaving techniques are awesome. But the three books have been my all time favorite and most used books in the 18 years I've been weaving. I actually bought another Shuttlecraft because my first was falling apart after five years because it is so loved and used. Figured I ought to get a backup in case it ended up out of print.
