My name is Lindsay and I started knitting when I broke my ankle two and a half years ago and kind of got addicted.
I found a video on youtube that lead me here looking at a specific design. They are a lovely pair of mittens :) My sister is bugging me to make her a pair for Christmas and can't seem to make up her mind on what she wants. I think I'll choose for her and surpise her instead :)
i'm learning to do fairisle knit and am about half way through my first pair called fiddlehead mittens. My first time doing a thumb gusset and first time knitting in a lining. I know a store owner who was selling the kits for the fiddlehead design. I love how they're turning out.
What brought me here was the White witch mittens design. Hehe I plan on making that my sister's christmas gift ;)
