I absolutely love this stitch! However, I was wondering if anyone knew if it could easily be transferred or modified for knitting a hat on circular needles? If not, I can improvise, but I'm making a hat and scarf for someone, and would like them to match. :)
Here are a couple of links that give great instructions on double knitting in the round. I think that if you just google double knitting in the round you could find some great video's that show how to do it.
That is a beautiful stitch and will make a gorgeous set. It's different from the technique of double knitting to make a two-sided fabric however. For the round, I think you'll need an even number of sts. On row 1: k1, slip 1 around and on row 2: p1, k1 around. You should be purling the slipped st from the previous round.
