I just finished a headband and realized that the beginnnig side does not have the correct ribbing. Is there anyway I can rip out the project from the cast on end and just decrease on it?

Hi Lisa, there is a Knitting Daily TV Show about how to shorten or lengthen the cast on end of a knit piece. But I don't remember the number or exact titel. Perhaps someone else can help out with that?

Claudia, you're good to remember this one. http://www.knittingdaily.com/blogs/daily/archive/2011/11/09/oops-how-to-lengthen-or-shorten-a-sweater.aspx

Schnucki, I've done this for sweaters and it works very well. Inserting the needle into the row first is a key and you can use a smaller size needle to make this easier.
