I'm trying to do the Simple Prayer Shawl ? ON The cast on is it ? just 3 stiches only and start the row 1 and two untill 36 inches or cast on 3 stiches to 36 inches? I'm sorry for numb question, im a beginer but i want to this so bad i really need help. God Bless who ever will help me.

you just Cast on 3 stitches, then follow directions for knitting Row 1 and Row 2 until you have 36 in. or desired size, then Bind off. I hope this helps you get started on your shawl and enjoy your knitting.
