Your sweater looks like a winner.
I had been doing M1's but ripped out to beginning of row and will tru KFB. Presently I have 140 stitches on the needles. Thanks for the help. Will let you know how it works out.
I am glad to hear Dennis is doing well. The puppy is adorable, would bring a smile to anyone's face.

Chris, I've been thinking of you and am glad to hear your guy is home and healing. Stints are amazing things now days. I also had good news today, my mother's melanoma is a Type 1, on the surface only, no sign of metastasizing at this point. Yeah! I told a friend, I think she's like a cat, she has nine lives! I'm sorry about your mom falling, mine has taken several bad falls. Your therapy puppy is adorable. I take mine into my mom's care center and they are a big hit.
This pattern is so off in sizing...I ended up using the child's large until the last round of ruching then increased to the adult small so I can get the waist shaping in. I ended up going down to a size 4 needle and this time it fits. I'm about three inches into the stockinette bottom. I ripped out three skeins of yarn to start over so I know how you feel. Good luck with everything!
It is so nice to see the completed and partially completed projects--such lucious colors, it makes me feel like Spring will eventually come! I was also happy to hear the good news of loved ones getting along well with good M.D. reports.
This KAL has been such a nice experience for me. I don't live close enough to a yarn shop to join in their classes or knitting times, so this was great and everyone could knit at her own pace.
Thank you all for the advice and chatting. I agree, it is nice to see the faces of you knitters!
So happy to hear that your husband is home and I hope he has a speedy recovery! The puppy is precious. Jeanie
What wonderful news for your mother!! Your dogs are so darling. Jeanie
I almost finished my tee, but I will be frogging back to just below the sleeve stitches. I forgot to account for my longer row gauge so it's way too long and the waist shaping is off. The good news is the ruched section fits. Here's a pic before I tear it out.
Also, it looks like I managed to drop a stitch and never noticed. Guess there's another reason to frog now.
Happy Easter to All who celebrate Easter. And Peaceful Passover to those who don't. Dennis doing ok...stubborn though. Did not keep his doctor's appointment.
Promise pictures on Monday...my new Tee will work out much better for me.
Finished, well not really. Just need to weave in the two ends though...That's all. I love that part
I used Berrroco Seduce. 7 skeins at 100 yds ea. Kept the same needle size(6) just adjusted to the gauge, so I made size 421/2 which actually ended up being the 381/2. Perfect. The yarn is wonderful. Has slub texture with highs and lows in the color and also added to the dimension of the look. I did not do the key hole as i was concerned how low it would fall. I know now that it would have been fine. I did not cast on the six stitches and made adjustments to the armhole when binding off and casting on for that. I did the Magic Formula for my increases and decreases. Love that tool. Thank you Kathleen for sharing that.
Here are some pics....
jrknits, it looks gorgeous! Way to go! I am currently in the waist shaping decreases.
It looks so pretty. You made me regret not restarting after the second time of ripping it out. It really fits well.
Beautiful color and wonderful knitting! It fits you perfectly! Jeanie
jkknits, your tee is beautiful. Love the yarn you used and the color. I agree, perfect fit!
I am having a terrible time with the first set of increases. I have 140 stitches on the needles. I am supposed to add 54 stitches. I have tried this several times and always end up with stitches left on the needle. The instructions start K M1 K K K. Do I count the sticth I do the kfb as one of the three knit stitches. I have never worked with increases like this.
