yarn overs in lace knitting

when knitting a pattern in lace knitting every time I k 2 together or ssk the yarn over pattern hole following the decrease  is much larger than the rest of the other yarn overs. What am I doing wrong?

As far s I can tell, nothing.

 

In essence you have made a "hole" by making the decrease prior to making another hole with the YO.  It may look larger now, but when you block things it should all even out.
