I have been into crochet since I was a teenager but have always been fascinated by knitting. It is a skill that has always evaded me. I have been determined since Christmas to figure it out. My sister in law bought me a beginners knitting book. although it is very inspiring, I am definitely a person who learns by watching videos. It has taken so many trials and errors to figure out what style of knitting is comfortable for me. So many times i have tried to learn the English method, not realizing there was another way. I had never heard of Continental knitting. I really clicked with it then. I have the basics down now and I have the knitting bug so bad. I'm even dreaming knitting patterns. I'm gravitating toward fair isle knitting. I just can't get enough of it.
