Just been diagnosed with Lupus, the skin type, I'm sun sensitive and have a horrible rash on my forearms, neck, back and shoulders ! Doesn't itch or hurt.  Since I live in Puerto Vallarta (sun-ville) and San Diego (another sun-ville) looking for a pattern that will hide my rashes, and not be too heavy/hot, so I can still wear my sundresses.  I prefer a lace pattern, but it needs to cover my skin, maybe a tight pattern (lace) would be OK.  Any ideas????

I'm sorry to here about your troubles. Hope all is going well.

Here are a few shrug patterns that might work. A search or Ravelry (free to join) will turn up pages of patterns, too

I don't have any suggestions but hopefully samonmac's suggestions helped and you can still wear your sundresses
