Hi! I got started a little late with this beautiful pullover, but ran into language problems. There is an abbreviation used in the pattern "sl m" that I do not find explained in the list of abbreviations. Can anybody tell me what it means? Many thanks from knitter in Sweden

That means to slip the marker that you put in on the previous row.  Just move it from left needle to right one.

I don't understand row 2 of the simple prayer shawl. It says Knit 2, yo, purl to last two stitches, then knit 2. But there are only 4 stitches on the needle (row 1 says cast on 3 stitches, k2,yo, k to end (1 stitch?)
