I don't know if this will help you or not. I think these are sewing patterns. I will look for crocheted/knitted ones for you. You may have to join a yarn site for these kinds of things. Like Lion Brand Yarn, Bernat, etc.

Hi Julie,
Check the above sight out and scroll down until you get the Off-the-Shoulder Evening Jumper. The pattern calls it a jumper, but to me it is like a modern style outfit. Off the shoulders is very desirable for young ladies now and if you knit or crocheted a very lacy light shawl to go with it, this pattern might do nicely. Off course I would think that you would want to knit it up in a color becoming of the event.
Good luck with this and let me know what you think. Zoe
Prom Dresses designed dress is a mermaid style dress with a sweetheart neckline, a lace-up back, a red bow on the back area, and ruffle layers expanding out from mid-thigh area to the floor. The labelled picture should explain better. As for the colour and material of the dress!!!

I don't know how far along you have gotten in your search for a dress/gown pattern. The above site has a simple elegant knit gown. Please check it out.

Oodles of crocheted dresses on this site. You can make them as long or short as you want. Zoe
