Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying the site! This may have been mentioned already, but I would love to have a place where people could post some of the things they have working on and/or have finished. I'm always so inspired to see what other knitters have accomplished. A lot of times I decide to knit a pattern I had previously passed by after I see it in a different color or yarn or some slight alterations have been made.

Ok, I'm not disloyal. I LOVE Knitting Daily and Interweave Knits.
But Ravelry is really good at what you are describing. And it already exists. Go there and get an account, also, and tell all your friends here to do the same, and then post links HERE to your pictures There, or on Flickr. Both are free. There really isn't any need to re-invent the wheel, and the community is richer for having more pics in a single place, all tagged and easy to find, than having to look here AND there AND Knit Picks (which I also love). I am all for diversity and am loving this site, but it just came up. Give it time to mature and find out what it wants to be when it grows up. Maybe it's not a photograph database.
Or maybe it could be. The more I write the worse this post sounds. I guess I do believe in capitalism and tool competition and survival of the fittest, and maybe IW will want KD Forums to be THE fiber community that has it all. And everyone has the right to make suggestions, no question. I guess as a former software developer, I just felt like the poor coders and PMs would say "gee, we just got it out the door and already they want us to add what?" But it would only have to be one more forum with people uploading their pictures.
Oh, wait, we can already do that here... So, Go Ahead, Jody! Add a thread - I think you could do this under each IW publication section (IW Knits, IW Crochet, Spin-off, Knit Gifts, etc) - and ask people to upload pictures and descriptions of their FOs. If I can find my pictures, I'll be the first to post.
But I still wish I didn't have to look all over the internet to find and compare the pictures of say, the Central Park Hoodie. I guess you just can't have everything. And diversity is a beautiful thing. (That's why we like to see 185 pictures of different Central Park Hoodies!).
