 Hi Shelly,

Good for you in being brave and participating in another knitting forum after getting booted from the first one! I think everyone here is friendly and helpful. There are rules posted and explained on the Forum, I think you'll find them if you nose around.

The only real rule that I've found is that you may not share patterns with others, since that's breaking copyright rules. That you have to "behave" - not say bad things about others etc, that's obvious!

Good luck on knitting as well as on your studies  and your budding working life. Sounds like you're an energetic type!

Wow, you're a very new knitter and you've already finished 2 (and a half) sweaters?  Congratulations.  I've been knitting for years and have never attempted a sweater (except baby sweaters).  I'm always afraid that after all that work, I wouldn't like the way it looked on me.  I tend to stick with things that are quick to finish, like socks, scarves, and shawls (and baby stuff for gifts).

There are all kinds of free knitting patterns and info on the web - just google "free knitting patterns" and you'll have more than you will ever be able to use.  I don't know about other forums, because I'm new to this forum thing too.  I've been unemployed for the past couple of months (start a new job next week), and when I'm working, I don't have time to chat on line during the day, and in the evenings, I don't want to waste any potential knitting time.

Good luck and have fun !
