Just skip that block and go on to the next one. It can happen if there&amp;#39;s a decrease in the previous row or if there&amp;#39;s going to be an increase later on the chart. &lt;p&gt;I am a beginning knitter and I recently learned how to read a knitting chart through You Tube but a term appeared in a recent pattern chart&amp;nbsp; from &amp;quot;Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2012.&amp;quot; The pattern is the Ipswich Scarf by Elinor Brown on page 122. The chart has several blocks that read &amp;quot;no stitch.&amp;quot; What does this mean? Am i to skip over or drop a stitch or what? I am very puzzled. Can someone please explain???
